I recently discovered poetry by this incredibly talented writer Victoria Pettela. When I read her words for the first time, I thought how I always wished for something like this to exist but I never found a writer who writes it. Now she was there with her otherwordly poems, speaking directly to my soul with each and one of them.

She says that what inspires her poetry is her inner world, her life experiences, her imagination and her connection to magical realms of nature, creatures, forests. She is also inspired by gothic, dark romantic worlds. One book she loves is Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.
